This coffee is a combination of coffee from small holders growing on half a hectare making up 90% of the coffee with estates growing the remaining 10%.It was named Mbili Twiga to reflect this coming together. Mbili Twiga translates as two giraffes coming together. Cherries here are picked ripe and brought to the processing station where they are washed and fermented for 36-42 hours. Washed again and soaked, the coffee is finally dried on raised beds.
